Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with 11+ years of expertise in Android application development using Java and Kotlin . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android SDKs, RESTful API integration, MVVM architecture, and Android Architecture Components . You will play a key role in building high-performance, scalable, and secure Android applications, while ensuring compatibility across multiple devices and screen resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin .
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs for seamless communication between applications and backend services.
• Implement unit and instrumented tests using Robolectric, Mockito, and AndroidX to ensure robust application quality.
• Utilize MVVM architecture and Android Architecture Components to build scalable and maintainable applications.
• Optimize performance through multi-threading, offline storage, and background processing .
• Ensure application compatibility across multiple Android SDK versions, screen resolutions, and device types .
• Implement localization and internationalization features for global reach.
• Incorporate security best practices to safeguard user data and application integrity.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement Google s Android design principles and interface guidelines .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy applications via CI/CD pipelines and publish them to the Google Play Store .

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 11+ years of hands-on experience in Android App Development using Java and Kotlin .
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin Coroutines for efficient asynchronous programming.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs using Retrofit, Ok or similar libraries .
• Expertise in unit testing and UI testing using Robolectric, Mockito, and AndroidX .
• Deep understanding of MVVM architecture and Android Jetpack components .
• Solid knowledge of offline storage, data persistence, threading, and performance tuning .
• Hands-on experience in localization and internationalization for multilingual apps.
• Strong understanding of security protocols in the mobile application ecosystem.
• Exposure to Jetpack Compose for modern UI development.
• Familiarity with object-oriented and functional programming concepts .
• Knowledge of Google s Material Design principles and UI/UX best practices .
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deploying apps to the Google Play Store .

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile development environments .
• Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, and real-time data handling .
• Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger .
• Experience with Firebase, Google Play Services, and third-party SDK integrations .
