HOW AN APPIAN JUNIOR DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Works with web services, FTP, JMS, and other web integration technologies.
  • Supports user experience, UI design, and/or HCI.
  • Practices agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Works with application servers, web servers, operating systems, and web application architectural concepts.
  • Supports configuration, deployment, and testing of enterprise software applications and relational databases.
  • Understands relational database design and SQL.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BA/BS with concentration in computer science, computer engineering, or technical or related field.

Required Experience: 1+ years of experience in an analyst or developer role. 2+ years of experience in an analyst or developer role are preferred, with 1+ year of that experience in successful software delivery or software development using Appian technologies and tools or comparable.

Required Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with web services, FTP, JMS, and other web integration technologies.
  • Background in user experience, UI design, or HCI.
  • Familiarity with software delivery methodologies such as agile/scrum.
  • Working knowledge in application servers, web servers, operating systems, and web application architectural concepts.
  • Strong understanding of relational database design and SQL.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong problem solving and design skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Location: Washington, D.C.

Timeline: This is for a proposal that is expected to be awarded in May, 2025.

The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $118,524. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
