Automation Controls Engineer – Siemens & Allen-Bradley Specialist

• An Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering degree; 2 or more years of Allen Bradley, Siemens or Parker-Hannifin controls engineering experience; and web handling experience are all required to be considered
• Domestic travel can be up to 6 weeks annually
• Pay up to $81,000

This growing industrial controls and instrumentation manufacturer is hiring a full-time, permanent Automation Controls Engineer. The technology used is primarily Allen Bradley, Siemens, Parker-Hannifin, Motion Control, WonderWare, IFix, HMI, SCADA, AutoCAD, and other various Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs).

The successful candidate's duties will include:

• Designing and creating electrical controls and control panels for web handling control systems
• Programming PLCs, HMIs and drives
• Overseeing the building of panels
• Acting as the project manager of the project
• Commissioning control systems at client sites
• Meeting project costs and timelines
• Creating electrical schematics
• Interacting with customers as needed
• Presenting to various levels
• Participating in budgeting
• Being part of cutting-edge technology, robotic programming and factory automation
• Traveling 4 to 6 weeks annually

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering
• 2+ years of Allen Bradley, Siemens or Parker-Hannifin controls engineering experience
• 2+ years of HMI experience
• 2+ years of web handling experience
• Ability to travel domestically 4 - 6 weeks annually
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45 minutes
