About the Role:
As a Behavior Specialist, you'll work directly with children in their homes, implementing individualized goals developed by your supervisor. You'll play a crucial role in helping children develop new skills and reduce behaviors that are impacting their success. Data collection is also a key component of this role.
What You'll Do:
Implement Goals: Work with children in their homes to implement individualized goals.
Collaborate: Work closely with your supervisor through remote and in-person supervision to ensure consistent and effective support.
Collect Data: Accurately collect data to track progress and inform treatment strategies.
Make a Difference: Help children develop new skills and improve their overall well-being.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday (and possibly Fridays) from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM/7:30 PM.
Compensation:
Earn between $21.00 and $29.00 per hour, depending on experience, with a higher hourly rate for weekend work.
What You'll Need:
Experience: Experience in ABA is preferred.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a related field is preferred.
Childcare Experience: At least one year of experience working with children is highly preferred. Experience working with children with challenging behavior is a plus.
Certification: You must be willing to complete the requirements to obtain RBT certification through our organization.
Weekend Availability: Comfortable working weekends for a higher hourly rate (weekend work depends on client needs).
Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Background Check: Ability to pass a background check.
