We are seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to join our team at Anytime Fitness Lakemoor! The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment and is committed to health and fitness.
This location is under new ownership and we are very excited to grow a personal training program! This gym has lots of untapped potential for a trainer to grow into a very successful training business!
Responsibilities:
- Instruct groups of individuals in fitness activities
- Offer support to help clients achieve their fitness goals
- Demonstrate proper form and technique
- Develop and implement specialized training programs for clients
- Ensure fitness programs are effective, safe, and fun
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a personal trainer or in other related fields preferred, but not required
- Ability to train at all fitness levels
- Passion for health and fitness
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
We are looking for a fun, energetic Personal Trainer to join our team! Our staff works together to create a culture of success for our staff and our members. As an Anytime Fitness Personal Trainer you will directly interact with our amazing members, contribute to the success and growth of our results based coaching formula and see the results of your actions in our members and their fitness success through coaching.
The position starts as part time, with the room to grow into full time as your client base grows.
Our sales training helps you learn how to sell packages to grow your client base.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Nationally recognized Personal Trainer Certification required (must be current and active)
- Personal Training experience preferred, but not required. We have a proven training system that will allow you to learn on the job, so newly certified is just fine.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be current and active)
- Computer and MS Office Skills are needed to work on the corporate computer system and perform duties and record keeping on our members and their progress
JOB DESCRIPTION
An Anytime Fitness Personal Fitness Trainer (PT) will conduct safe and effective exercise for a wide variety of participants starting from different levels of fitness and ages. This is done by Traditional (1-on-1) Training, Small Group Training, Virtual Training and additional outreach and coaching opportunities.
Beyond the traditional roles described, the PFT also provides guidance, education, and encouragement and most importantly, develops relationships with all members to improve retention. AF expects PFT's to possess above average customer service skills and be on a mission to provide a “surprisingly personable experience” with everyone.
Trainers are responsible for assisting with the general upkeep of the club, sales and marketing, social media and proactive outreach to inactive members to assist in retention efforts along with training and assessments of member clients on a regular cadence calendar.
The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic, but also organized and detail oriented. Our team places a high premium on providing surprisingly personable service in a non-intimidating environment. If that sounds like you, this might be just the right fit!
