Job Description
Job Title: Clinical Informaticist Product Development
Location - St, Louis, MO(Remote)
Key Responsibilities:
Engage directly with clinicians and end users to gather feedback, validate workflows, and ensure products align with clinical needs.
Work with cross-functional product teams (product managers, designers, and engineers) to define product requirements and shape development priorities.
Translate clinical needs into product specifications, including workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Set up and maintain test environments within the EHR (e.g., Athena, Cerner) to evaluate new product features in a realistic clinical setting.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive innovation in healthcare delivery.
Serve as a liaison between clinical end users and non-clinical team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Assist in testing and validating new product features, working alongside engineers and QA teams to troubleshoot issues before deployment.
Contribute to the adoption and implementation of new clinical products by developing training resources and supporting end-user education.
Utilize data-driven insights and clinical expertise to influence product decisions and prioritize features that enhance patient care.
Stay current with EHR systems, industry regulations, and emerging healthcare technologies to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.
Required Skills :
Clinical background with experience in Clinical Informatics, Healthcare Technology, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with EHR systems, particularly Athena and Cerner.
Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to navigate between clinical and technical domains.
Experience translating clinical workflows into product requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Experience setting up and managing EHR test environments for product validation and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Willingness to learn product management skills, including writing user stories, mapping workflows, and defining product requirements.
Proven ability to lead change, drive adoption, and advocate for clinical users in a technology-driven environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically about how technology can improve patient care and operational efficiency.
