Role Overview:
As a Fire Alarm Project Designer, you will play a key role in designing fire alarm systems for various projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and designing fire alarm systems, from concept to execution, including coordinating with design teams, reviewing shop drawings, and supporting construction administration.
Collaborating with internal team members and external clients, while engaging with building and fire officials to ensure compliance.
Providing assistance to project managers in the successful delivery of projects.
Contributing to business development efforts aimed at expanding services.
Participating in the growth and development of the team and the organization as a whole.
This role may involve occasional travel across the U.S. and Canada.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who have the following qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience designing fire alarm systems, with a background in consulting.
Education: A related technical or engineering degree.
Certifications: NICET certification in fire alarm systems is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to solve technical challenges through critical thinking, research, and effective communication.
Organization and Communication: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly.
Motivation: A drive for personal and professional growth, along with a passion for contributing to the success of the team.
