MEP Designer - Lititz, PA

Responsibilities:
Create 3D and 2D designs of MEP systems for new construction and renovation projects.
Prepare cost-effective conceptual and construction designs that meet client expectations.
Develop schematic design concepts for drafting and cost estimation.
Provide team leadership and support BIM/CAD operator drafting execution.
Prepare design and BIM coordination proposals and communicate effectively with clients.
Negotiate with clients and ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Meet with project stakeholders, including owners, general contractors, and architects.
Collaborate with internal teams to achieve individual and company-wide goals.
Work with BIM/CAD staff, BIM Manager, and MEP estimators to share resources and coordinate efforts.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of MEP design experience on large commercial, industrial, or multi-unit projects.
Experience attending site, design development, and BIM coordination meetings.
Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, design drawings, specifications, and proposals.
Knowledge of building energy analysis, design load calculations, and building codes.
Understanding of current industry trends and existing installations.
Valid driver's license.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Bluebeam, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Knowledge of general construction practices and relevant MEP design codes (National Electric Code, NFPA 70E, International Plumbing Code, etc.).
