Primary Job Title: Order Puller

Schedule : 10:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Pay Rate: $19/hour

The Warehouse Order Picker is responsible for efficiently selecting and pulling merchandise from shelves to fulfill customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role also includes shelving merchandise, assisting with both small and large package orders, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. The position uses voice-directed inventory software to guide order fulfillment and requires attention to detail, accuracy, and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use voice inventory software (Jennifer) to locate items for order fulfillment and place them accurately in the assigned totes.
• Select merchandise for customer orders by scanning license plate numbers (LPN) and placing items in grey totes as directed.
• Organize and shelve merchandise by scanning license plate numbers on red and yellow totes.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Scan and assign large packages to carts; pick and organize items as directed by voice software.
• Assist in organizing and shelving pallets and totes throughout the warehouse.
• Participate in quarterly inventory audits or as otherwise needed.
• Operate forklifts or other powered equipment when required (if certified).

Required Experience:

• Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience in a warehouse, inventory, or similar setting is a plus.
• Capable of basic math calculations and communicating effectively in English.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Familiarity with voice-directed inventory systems.
• Previous experience operating forklifts or other powered warehouse equipment (certification preferred).

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in listening and accurately following instructions.
• High attention to detail for order accuracy.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with inventory software and basic scanning equipment.
• Ability to stay organized and maintain a clean working area.
• Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent walking, standing, handling items, and reaching with hands and arms.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, and kneel as required.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must have close and distance vision capability as well as normal hearing.
