NBC News is looking for a dynamic communications professional to join its world-class bureau in Washington, DC. This role will help execute press strategies for the network’s political coverage, as well its acclaimed brands such as “Meet the Press with Kristen Welker” and DC-based editorial teams.
The Publicist will support day-to-day media relations for NBC News across the network’s TV, digital & streaming platforms, as well as assist in the promotion of election coverage and events, special reports and breaking news.
The role requires extensive organizational skills, creative and innovative thinking, proven written skills and a strong interest in news (especially politics), media and public relations.

Note : This position is based in Washington, DC with travel opportunities to New York and elsewhere. This position could require weekend work, particularly on Sunday, which will be offset with time off during the week.
