What You’ll Do

As Senior HR Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of Human Resources to support our hotel’s operations and strategic vision. You’ll be a trusted advisor to leadership, a champion for employees, and a culture curator, ensuring The Standard remains a great place to work.

Your Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Find & attract top talent, develop hiring strategies that bring in the best.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, and hiring processes from job postings to final offers.
  • Ensure a seamless, engaging onboarding experience that immerses new hires in The Standard’s culture.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Act as a trusted HR partner, support employees and managers with workplace concerns.
  • Mediate conflicts, foster open communication, and uphold a positive, inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.

Training & Development

  • Identify growth opportunities and design development programs for employees and leaders.
  • Implement leadership training to nurture and retain top talent.
  • Organize workshops and learning sessions that enhance skills and performance.

Performance Management

  • Lead performance review cycles, ensuring meaningful feedback and growth opportunities.
  • Coach managers on developing high-performing teams.
  • Design strategies that support career progression and employee retention.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee benefits administration, ensuring employees understand and maximize their options.

Engagement & Culture

  • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to keep morale high.
  • Champion The Standard’s culture, reinforcing our values across all HR practices.
  • Plan employee events, recognition programs, and team-building activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in hospitality or a hotel setting.
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing HRIS systems and data-driven HR processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • A strategic mindset, balancing big-picture HR initiatives with daily operations.
