The opportunity

We are looking for a Social Media Monitoring Specialist to join our growing global Omnichannel Operations team in Zagreb, Croatia. This role is crucial in supporting Teva’s social media efforts by monitoring official social media channels for potential Adverse Events (AEs) and safety-related content. This role requires daily surveillance, accurate documentation, and timely reporting in accordance with regulatory guidelines and internal procedures.  

How you’ll spend your day

•    Daily monitoring of official Teva social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
•    Identification, triage, and documentation of any potential Adverse Events (AEs), product complaints, or safety-related content.
•    Ensure timely reporting and escalation of AEs in compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements
•    Maintain detailed and accurate logs of reviewed content and actions taken
•    Collaborate with global PV and digital marketing teams to refine monitoring protocols and ensure alignment with safety standards
•    Stay current with social media trends, monitoring tools, and evolving regulatory expectations
•    Support the development and updating of social media monitoring procedures and training materials

Your experience and qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Marketing, Pharmacy or a related field
•    Pharmaceutical background or similar is advantage
•    Prior experience, at least 1 year in pharmacovigilance, social media monitoring, or digital communications within a regulated industry (preferably pharmaceutical)
•    Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, analytical mindset
•    Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive, high-stakes environment
•    Familiarity with social media listening/monitoring tools is advantage (e.g., Hootsuite, TalkWalker)
•    Fluent in English + other major EU languages (German, French) are a plus
