POSITION SUMMARY:

The Translator is responsible for providing accurate and reliable interpretation services between English and Chinese. You will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Interpret accurately and fluently between English and Chinese
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Adapt to various interpreting environments and situations.
• Provide timely and reliable interpretation services.
• Follow ethical guidelines and protocols for interpreters.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Fluency in English and Chinese language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and sensitivities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must Reside in NY

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to carry, lift, push or pull at least 20lbs

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in translation or interpretation is preferred but not required.
