Job Description
A staff attorney will assist trial court judges in the Fourth Judicial Circuit with legal issues that require research and analysis, attending court proceedings, advising judges, and drafting memoranda and court orders. Staff attorneys primarily work on felony cases, including capital and non-capital criminal matters with a focus on postconviction motions. Staff attorneys will also work on civil, family, and probate matters.
Education and Training Guidelines
Graduation from an ABA-accredited law school
Member in good standing of The Florida Bar within one (1) year of hiring
