We are currently seeking an experienced Used Car Buyer to join our team and help us continue to grow and succeed. Job Description: As a Used Car Buyer at Jeff D'Ambrosio Auto Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding our inventory of high-quality pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, extensive knowledge of the automotive market, and a proven track record in used car purchasing. Key Responsibilities:

Source and purchase pre-owned vehicles from various channels including auctions, trade-ins, and private sellers.
Evaluate the condition of potential purchases and make informed buying decisions based on market trends and dealership needs.
Negotiate pricing and terms with sellers to ensure favorable deals for the dealership.
Maintain and manage relationships with wholesalers, auction houses, and other industry contacts.
Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing, availability, and demand for various vehicle makes and models.
Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels and a diverse selection of vehicles.
Perform regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
Provide detailed reports on purchasing activities and market trends to management.

Qualifications:

Experience in used car buying, preferably in a high-volume dealership environment.
Strong knowledge of the automotive market, including vehicle values, market trends, and industry best practices.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using automotive purchasing software and other relevant technology.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
