Job Description: As a Used Car Buyer at Jeff D'Ambrosio Auto Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding our inventory of high-quality pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, extensive knowledge of the automotive market, and a proven track record in used car purchasing. Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase pre-owned vehicles from various channels including auctions, trade-ins, and private sellers.
• Evaluate the condition of potential purchases and make informed buying decisions based on market trends and dealership needs.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with sellers to ensure favorable deals for the dealership.
• Maintain and manage relationships with wholesalers, auction houses, and other industry contacts.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing, availability, and demand for various vehicle makes and models.
• Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels and a diverse selection of vehicles.
• Perform regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Provide detailed reports on purchasing activities and market trends to management.

• Experience in used car buying, preferably in a high-volume dealership environment.
• Strong knowledge of the automotive market, including vehicle values, market trends, and industry best practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using automotive purchasing software and other relevant technology.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
