Sr. Network Engineer (GC HOLDERS AND CITIZENS ONLY)

My client has a full time opening for a Sr. Network Engineer.  This position is on site to start and offers 2 days WFH after a few months of employment. 

• Core Focus: Design, implement, maintain, and secure on-premise network infrastructure.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead network projects and deployments.
  • Manage Cisco (ISR, Catalyst, Nexus, Firewalls) and Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Ensure network security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues (Tier 3 support).
  • Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
  • Perform proactive maintenance and lifecycle management.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation (onsite once per month).
  • Occasional travel to branch locations.
• Required Skills:
• 7+ years of Cisco network experience.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, IPsec, VPN, 802.1x, and other networking protocols.
• Proficiency with network tools (Cisco DNA, DCNM/NDFC, etc.).
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
